Chaplain Announcement

We are very pleased to announce that Fr. Ryan Adorjan has been appointed by the Diocese of Joliet to be chaplain of Chesterton Academy of The Holy Family. Fr. Adorjan will begin his chaplaincy in August 2020, and he will be with us on a part-time basis.

In January 2018, Chesterton Academy of The Holy Family was formally affiliated with the Diocese of Joliet during our third year of operation. We are indebted to the Diocese for all the support it has provided and for helping us to secure a chaplain.

Fr. Adorjan has captured the hearts and minds of our community through his deep learning, sense of humor, and understanding of the challenges young adults face in living the faith. Fr. Ryan has said mass almost weekly on campus this year, and he has also preached several retreats for us. We are confident that as chaplain he will continue to help our whole community grow spiritually, intellectually, and in character.

We look forward to welcoming Fr. Adorjan, along with the many priests who joined us this year, back to campus for mass in the 2020-21 academic year.
