Headmaster Announcement
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am writing you, the Chesterton community, for two important reasons. The first is to thank you and to congratulate you for another remarkable year. Twenty-two seniors who had been educated in the classical tradition and the truths of the Catholic faith, graduated in a beautiful commencement ceremony. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. The second reason that I am writing is to inform you of changes in our school’s leadership structure. With the continued success and growth of our school, the board discerned that changes needed to be made to meet these increasing demands. The restructuring of the school’s leadership team will position the school more effectively to pursue our mission and secure our financial future.
This administrative restructuring includes an expansion of our leadership team. The Board has offered a position to Mr. Janeiro within our new structure. He has declined and will be seeking other opportunities. We thank Mr. Janeiro for the leadership he has provided to our students and faculty over the course of the past three years, especially during difficult times. He has been an exemplary teacher who has cultivated a love of learning in our students. We have great hopes for him in his next venture. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
As you know, change is always hard. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we are emerging from these times with full enrollment and on sound financial footing. We are confident these changes will make us better prepared and equipped to serve our students and families even more effectively than in the past and to help Chesterton be a brighter light in an ever-darkening world. In the coming weeks, we will share our new organizational structure with the community.
Again, we express our deepest gratitude to Mr. Janeiro for all that he has done for our school. We wish him great success in his future endeavors.
