Lessons and Carols 2021

On the evening of Thursday, December 16, we held our annual event Advent Lessons and Carols featuring the all-school choir. The students have been working throughout the fall to master their songs, and we are also proud of the student speakers. Our indefatigable choir director Mrs. Janet Podczerwinski was assisted by Mrs. Barbara Dickerman, the choir’s accompanist.

We are pleased to share with you the performance of “Holly She Bears a Berry” by our sophomore choir. The full video recording of this event will be available on our Vimeo site, as well as in limited quantities of DVDs. We will post on our news page when those become available.

We are grateful to our host, Sts. Peter and Paul in Naperville, as well as Fr. Ryan Adorjan who helped us coordinate this event with the parish—he also accompanied students in his first public performance of the organ!

And thank you to all the many Chesterton parents who volunteered in various ways to make the event and the reception an absolute joy!
